Berkhamsted Library offers a wide range of services for the whole community. Visit the library to: borrow up to 30 books, DVDs, audio books, magazines, language courses including learning English, maps and music. You can also use our computers; read a newspaper or magazine; attend a storytime or baby rhyme time; make photocopies.

We do not carry music CDs or foreign language books, but these can be reserved (for a charge) from other Hertfordshire libraries.

  • Computer Suite providing: Internet and web-based e-mail Windows XP Office 2010: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Publisher Media players and image manipulation software
  • Digital scanner
  • Colour A4 printer
  • A free Wi-Fi service is also available in the library for users with their own Wi-Fi enabled device
