Civil Legal Advice (CLA) is a national telephone helpline in England and Wales. If you qualify for legal aid and have a relevent problem you can get free legal advice from CLA. Call 0345 345 4 345.

You might be able to get legal advice from Civil Legal Advice (CLA) if you qualify for legal aid and have a relevant problem.

You’ll be asked questions about your problem and your financial situation. If it looks like you might qualify for help, you’ll be able to speak to CLA.

You can get help from CLA for problems including:

  • special educational needs
  • housing
  • discrimination
  • domestic violence
  • issues around a child being taken into care

Saturday: 9am to 12:30pm

You can also text ‘legalaid’ and your name to 80010 to get a call back. This costs the same as a normal text message.
