Emergency hormonal contraception (EHC), also known as the 'morning after pill', is available free to under-25s from this pharmacy. It is a single pill that must be taken within 72 hours (three days) of unprotected sex to stop you getting pregnant if contraception has failed or not been used.

Only an accredited pharmacist within the pharmacy can dispense free emergency contraception. In a private consultation room they will also offer you a free chlamydia test, discuss ongoing contraception and refer you to the Hertfordshire sexual health service.
