Elstree Way Contraception and Sexual Health Clinic is located next to the library in Borehamwood. It provides contraception, emergency contraception, free condoms, pregnancy testing and referrals for termination of pregnancy. Chlamydia screening is available for under 25s.

Elstree Way Contraception and Sexual Health Clinic is walk-in clinic (no appointments necessary). 

This clinic provides all types of contraception (except the contraceptive patch and vaginal ring). Services provided include:

  • Free condoms
  • Hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptives
  • Implants and coils (by appointment only - call 0300 008 5522)
  • Emergency contraception (morning after pill)
  • Pregnancy tests
  • Referrals for termination of pregnancy
  • Chlamydia screening (testing) for under 25s

and referrals to other services.

The clinic offers a free and confidential service to anyone, regardless of age or gender.

Opening times: Tuesday 6.30-8.30pm and Saturday 10am-12noon

(Please note a doctor is available for coil and implant fitting every other Saturday by appointment only.)
