The YC Hertfordshire Abbots Langley Youth Project is open to all young people aged 13-19 years. It's a great place to meet other young people and experience something new. We offer a range of activities in our termly programmes including games, awareness sessions, sports and cooking, art & craft activities, computers and more. All sessions also have outdoor sports, pool, table tennis and air hockey for you to take part in. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.
The Abbots Langley Youth Project is open every Thursday from 6pm to 9pm for ages 13 to 19 (up to 24 if you have a learning disability) at the Abbots Langley Community Centre on the Abbots Langley High Street.
The YC Hertfordshire staff are on hand to support you with information, advice and guidance on education, job searching, sexual health & relationships and any other issues you might be experiencing.
Activities include, arts & crafts, sports such as football and badminton, cooking, Xbox, table tennis, pool and loads more!
Tamzin, who attends the project, said: “We always cook the things that we suggested a few weeks before. I really like the complicated recipes because I don't get to cook these anywhere else.”
Simon said: “I love playing sports with my friends at the project. I'm looking forward to using the new tennis rackets, especially on the outside courts in the spring.”
Abbots Langley Community Centre is fully wheelchair accessible.
