Bridges 2 Beats at the Waltham Cross Young People's Centre

YC Hertfordshire Bridges 2 Beats is a project that brings together different cultures and provides support and opportunities to young people in Hertfordshire.

Join the project and you'll learn the various aspects of creating music and work towards a live performance. You will also have the opportunity to visit an arts event at a major London venue and work with professional music teachers and musicians to develop your skills and knowledge of the arts world.

YC Hertfordshire advisers will also be on hand to help you produce a winning CV and portfolio, and find out more about local college courses. You'll gain valuable skills and enhance your employability. We'll also give you the chance to gain a Bronze Arts Award which is a nationally-recognised qualification supported by the Arts Council England.

The Bridges 2 Beats course runs every Tuesday, 6-8pm, and lasts for 14 weeks. During these sessions you can also complete a research project about a band or artist of your choice.
