The YC Hertfordshire Monks Walk Youth Project is open to all young people aged between 13 and 17. You do not have to be a student at Monk's Walk School to attend.
Computers are available for you to use and you will also be able to take part in a range of activities such as:
- Arts and crafts
- Street dance
- Trips out
You can discuss issues which are important to you such as health, drugs, education, bullying, peer pressure etc.
Young people come to the project because they want to take part in the planned activities, hang out with their peers and make new friends. The activities can lead to recognition and accreditation. You can have fun and learn something new at the same time! Youth workers help young people to have a say in how the project is run and what activities they would like to do.
If you'd like support with your emotional wellbeing and self esteem, come to the Monk’s Walk Emotional Wellbeing Project here on Wednesdays 5.30-7.30pm and enjoy a quality mix of activities including cooking, arts, crafts and much more.
