YC Hertfordshire Three Rivers Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expedition Training at YouthZone, South Oxhey

Sport / Outdoor AdventureHealthVolunteerLearning & CareersAdvice & Information

Come to YC Hertfordshire's YouthZone in South Oxhey on Monday evenings to learn all the skills you'll need to complete your Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) expedition section. YC Hertfordshire youth workers will also give you support and ideas for your other sections and help you with eDofE. The focus is on Bronze DofE but we can support Silver and Gold Awards too. YC Hertfordshire is the new name for Youth Connexions.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is a real adventure from beginning to end! It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, you just need to be aged between 14 and 17 and ready to jump into the best time of your life.

On Monday evenings at YouthZone you will have the opportunity to take part in training to gain all the skills you'll need to successfully complete a DofE expedition. Learn how to cook outdoors, put up a tent, read a map and navigate from A to B!

You can discuss any questions you may have about your DofE award and get support with adding your details to edofe, the online system that records all your achievements and charts your progress.

You can also find out more about the full DofE Award, including ideas for the physical, volunteering and skills sections.

Started your DofE but not finished it? You can complete your award with us - just get in touch or come along.

YouthZone is fully wheelchair accessible.
