The Wellbeing Service offers psychological help and practical support for young people experiencing a wide range of very common mental health problems such as worry, low mood, insomnia, panic and stress. We can help you improve your self esteem and reduce anxiety. We aim to teach you skills and techniques to better manage your symptoms and help you feel in control. The service is open to everyone aged 16+ and registered with a GP in Hertfordshire.
If you're aged 10 - 25 and living in Hertfordshire you can now access a free online counselling service called Kooth. We have trained counsellors available online 365 days of the year until 10pm. You can talk about any issues affecting you and there's also an anonymous forum so you can discuss things with people your age too.
Tilehouse Counselling is a charity that provides professional counselling for young people in Hitchin and North Herts. This service is offered to any young person between the ages of 13 and 19 who feels in need of support. For those in employment we ask for an affordable contribution to our costs.
