Herts SARC (Sexual Assault Referral Centre) helps men, women and young people living in Hertfordshire who have experienced rape or sexual assault, whether this has happened recently or in the last 12 months. Herts SARC has a team of experts with a wealth of knowledge and experience in advising and supporting you. This team includes specially trained Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs), who will care for you if you have been assaulted, liaising, where appropriate with police and other agencies.
At the Southgate Health Centre in Stevenage you can get free and confidential testing, treatment and advice about all sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The Stevenage Contraception Clinic is now also at this health centre. You can get free condoms, femidoms, implants, coils and emergency contraception (morning after pill), pregnancy tests and referral for termination of pregnancy. There is a special walk-in clinic for under-25s on Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 7pm.
At the Bedford Road Health Centre in Hitchin you can get free and confidential advice about contraception and sexual health. You can get free condoms, implants, coils and emergency contraception (morning after pill), pregnancy tests and referral for termination of pregnancy.

Young people's health drop-in service. Teen Screen is a special confidential service providing an awareness of general psychological and sexual health issues designed for young people.
The Bowling Road Health Centre in Ware has a contraception and sexual health clinic on Monday evenings from 6.30 to 8.30pm. You can get free condoms and all other forms of contraception, sexual health advice and pregnancy testing. Free chlamydia screening is available for under 25s.
